Individual Therapy and Coaching
Therapy is an opportunity to spend devoted time understanding yourself and your relationships more deeply, and to move towards desired changes. Being in touch with one’s inner world and being able to communicate the needs and feelings that arise are important elements of an enriching life. Therapy provides access to this greater self awareness. I believe that change occurs through altering one’s thoughts and actions, so I offer useful tools to support you in living a life that is in alignment with who you truly are.
I provide a safe space in which to explore the particular challenges you are facing, your goals, fears and dreams. I offer non-judgemental, active listening and reflection to assist you in developing more awareness of how your past experiences may be influencing the present. This understanding develops your capacity to respond more consciously to feelings and experiences, providing more choice and freedom.
I am trained in many styles of therapy, including longer term depth work as well as solution-focused, shorter term therapy, EMDR and life coaching. I weave together these different methods and techniques to best serve you and your unique needs.
